Automation

  • The automation solutions detailed below provide increased productivity and machine utilization for our cutting and bending machines. Handling and incidental times are reduced and an optimal flow of materials and data is ensured. In addition, a significant increase in the work and process reliability is achieved.

  • In order to design the path "from file to part" even more profitably. Bystronics offers its customers extensive automation solutions for its cutting and bending process.

  • Depending on just how far on wants or is able to go with reduced-manning operation, in addition to the machines equipped with loading and unloading systems, there are machines available with individual part removal and a fully automatic compact processing cell with integrated storage system.

  • Byloader:

    • Core specification: Metal sheets are loaded onto the table of this sheet loader using a crane or forklift vehicle. The Byloader transfers the individual sheets onto the shuttle table of the cutting machine. This module can be connected to both a laser and a Byjet waterjet cutting machine.

  • Bytrans:

    • Core specification: The Bytrans sheet loader/unloader fulfills the same function as the Byloader. In addition, the cut sheets are removed from the shuttle table while the cutting process continues and are stacked on the unloading table.

  • Bycell:

    • Core specification: Fully automated, compact laser processing cell. In addition to the loading and unloading unit, it includes an integrated storage system in which the received sheet package can be directly stored. Based on the data of the cutting plan, the metal sheets of the required format and the appropriate thickness and quality are selected and automatically fed to the laser cutting machine. The cut sheets can either be stacked on the unloading table or returned in a storage cassette as required.

  • Bysort:

    • Core Specification: As an extension to Bytrans, Bysort uses a suction system to remove the cut parts from the shuttle table while the cutting process continues, and sorts and stacks them on pallets. The remaining skeletons are subsequently disposed of to the waste metal trolley.

  • Bending Robot:

    • Core Specification: Bystronic pressbrakes can easily be equipped with an individual robot that is capable of carrying out the complete handling from the sheet stack through to the finished part.
