Manual Cold Saws

Our line of manual cold saws consists of 11 and 14 inch machines that use a circular saw blade that run at a relatively slow speed amongst a shower of coolant. These cold saws can cut straight, or miter up to 45 degree angles in one direction and up to 90 degrees in the opposite direction. Each machine comes standard with a very heavy and strong cast iron frame base with a cast dual pivot saw head supported by a swivel base and head support way system, which makes a Baileigh cold saw one of the most rugged machines on the market. A Baileigh manual cold saw head is well balanced and uses a long actuating handle giving the operator a lot of leverage to guide the saw blade through the piece of tubing or pipe with ease and utilizes a quality head retraction system for returning the cold saw head to the start position. The vise is self centering and clamps the piece of tubing on both sides of a cut, which extends blade life because the cut off does not drop into the blade. The base of our cold saws is a well built cabinet that houses the electronics, and coolant systems. There are also some very nice storage compartments with latched doors for storing circular saw blades. We use powerful motors that are coupled to very strong gear boxes that run in a bath of oil offering decades of uninterrupted service. Each circular cold saw ships with a scaled back gauge stop for repeatable cut offs when cutting multiples of the same part. Our cold saw line is the perfect machine tool for any fabrication or manufacturing setting where tube or pipe needs to be miter cut. Our mitering cold saws cut tubing faster and more precise than a chop saw, cut off saw, abrasive saw or band saw and the cut will be a perfect mill like finish not requiring any clean up.
